   File sdDir = Environment

     .getExternalStoragePublicDirectory(Environment.DIRECTORY_PICTURES);

   return new File(sdDir, "ebook");

Opa.. então realmente o caminho estava errado, estou usando um galaxy tab e está sem sdcard dai o caminho ficava assim.

"file://" + "/storage/sdcard0/ebook/er.png
