Nunca usei mas me lembro de ter lido sobre uma branch que eles tinha feito pro Android Studio.

Foi essa que vc baixou?

Tentei baixar a demo para usar no AndroidStudio, porém não consegui faze-la rodar, parece que o maven não conseguiu baixar todas as dependências de libs.
