Eu não uso style faço isso via java... Molezia.. Mas no momento não to com o projeto aqui mas no exemplo do Sherlock tbm cara..

Ver o exemplo que ele muda a actionbar para um efeito listado. Lá ele usa uma imagem para mudar ai tu pode seguir o mesmo raciocínio e mudar a cor da imagem... Funciona prefiro...

Já estou herdando o style <style name="AppBaseTheme" parent="Theme.Sherlock">

Porém se uso "background" ele acaba pintando a tela toda (meio lógico) não somente a ActionBar.

Alguém sabe como fazer?
