Oi Diego,

Não sei se é a mesma coisa mas já tive problemas com o editor e era porque a opção "Power Save Mode", em File estava ativada.

Espero que seja só isso.

Clica no ícone do Android, chamado "Android Device Monitor" na barra do AS, ele irá abrir uma tela como se fosse (se não for a mesma) o DMMS do Eclipse, e lá você poderá ver o logcat.

Com esta mesma versão estava funcionando perfeitamente, não sei por qual motivo parou.

Inclusive uso ela no trabalho e não tive problemas.
