Verifiquei.. ele não conseguia gerar o apk de debug, por isso tava dando erro..

Uma falha das boas.. Vou reportar pro pessoal do Google isso

Bem ridículo dizer isso.. mas o Windows perdeu a referência do java, ou seja, após criar a variável de ambiente JAVA_HOME na mão voltou a funionar corretamente !!

Está tentando fazer um deploy em um device (ou simulador) onde já está instalado seu app?

Se sim, procure desinstalar seu aplicativo e refazer o deploy.

Se a memória não me falha, já tive esse problema quando estava trabalhando com flavors no Android Studio + gradle.
