Dear Friends, Volunteers, Champions & Philanthropists,

We're please to announce that over 9,327 thoughtful American Citizens have signed a proclamation making December our Country's Official National Giving Month. Once we reach 10,000 signatures our U.S. Senators, Congressman and the White House will offer a legislative resolution celebrating the generosity of 120 million households who give during the Holiday Season. Because of friends like you we only need 637 more signatures to reach this important goal!

Did you know that neither Congress nor the Executive Branch has officially dedicated any of our twelve months to acts of volunteerism or charitable giving? December provides us a very special opportunity to celebrate those individuals, groups and organizations who invest their lives in charity.

Americans of all walks of life are volunteering their time and giving of their resources to improve lives and the quality of living of others. Please take a few moments to add your endorsement so that December officially becomes National Giving Month. Sign today and make the world a better place.

December is National Giving Month:

•  LAST YEAR AMERICANS GAVE $498.2 BILLION TO CHARITY

•  ONE THIRD (31%) OF ANNUAL GIVING OCCURS IN DECEMBER

•  12% OF ALL GIVING HAPPENS IN THE LAST 3 DAYS OF THE YEAR

•  28% OF NONPROFITS RAISE 50% OF THEIR FUNDING IN DEC

Our generosity demonstrates that even in divisive times our commitment to charity is secure. Charitable giving increases each year, signaling that our friends give according to their beliefs and interests, which are both diverse and wide-ranging.

Thank you in advance for making December National Giving Month.

Please VISIT HERE to sign the proclamation.

Warmly,

Kathleen Robinson, Ph.D
